But Wait!

We had a surprise birthday yesterday for spouse -- he was 60! Oh, my gosh! I'm married to an OLD MAN -- the kind you see in the jokes where they can't hear or see! Yep, he's been the hardest kid to raise!

Sarah planned the party, and the gifts. He's always going on about the "as seen on TV" commercials, so we bought everything we could find "as seen on TV" and each time he opened something, everybody hollered "But wait!" He got everything but the "snuggly" and that's coming this weekend when the grandbabies come for a visit.

YAAAAA!!!! All my grandbabies are coming for a visit! I'm so excited! All four of them in one place. What a treat! And Easter Sunday is #1's 10th birthday! He's already asking when he can drive! What? Not my baby boy!

I've been cleaning the downstairs in anticipation of their arrival. I left it to spouse for the winter. You'd think after 38 years I would learn, But noooo. I had such a mess to clean up. And threw away a trailer load of junk. Why was he keeping old dog food bags? The dog's been gone since January!

I haven't had time to sew, crochet, play paper dolls -- nothing! Just working, and running around. I think I stay home all the time, but when I think about it, I really don't. And when I do leave, I spend a lot of money! A lot! So, I guess for the rest of Lent I will have to stay at home. . .UMMMM....Maybe not. Better give up, uh, uh, uh, something else I'll think of later! luv, mom/mrt
