The Damn-o-crats are always spouting "health care for everyone". Well, there is! It's called Medicare or Medicade, or something else in another state. And there's the federal "spin down" program which pays for catastrophic incidents -- a one-time thing. And the medicals have to accept whatever the government decides to pay. And if you go to a state supported hospital, if you can't pay you don't have to!
Not true for the insured! Whatever the insurance companies don't pay, the sick and afflicted have to pay out of pocket. Being "insured" doesn't mean you're covered for everything, either. It all boils down, again, to what the insurance companies want to pay.
Now, who has the better deal here?
And medicine, pharmacy companies give medication to the under priviledged. Insurance companies pay whatever they want and you are responsible for the rest.
Who has the better deal there?
I'm tired of the government trying to be everything to everybody. Get an education. If you don't have the money, the government already has programs to pay for that. I paid to put three thru college. We had to eat road kill, but they all have educations and are leading productive lives!
Then . . . Get a job. None in your neighborhood? Move. I hate it that my kids are spread all the way across the country, but I know it's a must.
Then . . . Quit having a half-dozen illigitimate children. Quit teaching your kids that sex will cure everything -- nor alcohol nor dope. Nor walking around in britchies that fall off your butt, nor clothes that don't have enough fabric in them to wad a shotgun. They don't make you look cool; they made you look stupid.
Have I covered it all?
Gotta go walk; cholesterol is up and sugar. luv, mom/mrt
