I am going to attempt to add some photos now. . . We'll see!
Didn't work. All I got downloaded were a bunch of symbols and letters.
Took me an hour, and still no photos of the #3 GK.
Oh, well. . . some news. . . The cat and dog were gone for a week. Angel, the cat from hell, came home Thursday night. Got Tug yesterday -- at Balltown! And he was gone again this morning. I say leave the BDD (big dumb dog) loose! He apparently thinks so too.
I thought spring had come, but apparently not. Although the signs are there, redwoods and dogwoods blooming, fruit trees bloomed, iris' in full bloom. . . But somebody forgot to tell the weather man! It's cold here today. And to make matters worse, I had to go to town. A tank of gas and some grub and it's $100. Gonna have to learn to keep my buns at home!
I probably won't be eating much after Thursday for while. Got to have some extensive dental work done, and I have been warned it will be painful! Got some good drugs, tho I hate to take them. . . Makes my head feel like those malted milk balls you bite into and there's nothing there. Oops, there's the sun. . .Oops, now it's gone.
And why is McDonald's sweet tea better than anything I make? I've been making tea, at least a gallon a day, since I was 13 years old (that's when I had to learn to cook, too; Mama had a condition). Everybody else says my tea is the best. It's good, but I'd walk a mile for a McDonald's sweet tea -- and Michelle and Jifner agree. . . Sarah doesn't; she drinks water -- that's why her teeth are so white, even tho they do have braces and green, or red, or purple or orange rubber bands!
Sorry about the photos, I'll try again later. . . luv, mrt

Figuring it out . . .
I've been figuring today. . .Ya know, figuring bank balances, what bills to pay and when, and whether I should clean house or work outside. Got the checkbook balanced; don't have any money so that wasn't any fun. Figured the bills can all wait to go out on Thursday. That wasn't any fun either. Housework, if done properly, will kill you so I didn't do that! . . .
I finally opted for outside, but not to work. Just visited neighbors and enjoyed the sunshine. We can finally leave windows open, not run the furnace, wood stove, or air conditioner. I like spring!
Tug and Angel have been gone for two days. Angel is probably "tom catting" at Ricky's but Tug is a wonder. . . I wonder where he'll show up this time! He's too big to keep tied up; his neck is bigger than his head and he can get out of ANY collar. And harness. He ate it.
Hopefully will enjoy tomorrow with it's sunshine also. Probably mow this 2-acre yard! Gonna have to get goats soon cause can't afford gas for the lawn mower! And we could always use the milk! (Yech!!!)
Maybe tomorrow I'll have time to figure out how to add photos of my precious angels! So that's all for now. . . luv, mrt

A new Beginning
Well, this is the third try on trying to have a blog. Less attitude and more gratitude. . . that's gonna have to be my motto from now on. So here goes. . .
Todd and Michelle and Ashton were here this week. I will post some photos of the new baby when I figure out how -- again! They left for South Carolina when I left for church tonight. This morning was Ashton's first church service. He did like most Baptists do -- slept thru the whole thing! I made a really good photo of them under the apple tree in bloom. Michelle made some prints today before they left. It surely is lonely here without them. It will take me all of next week to get things back together.
I got to talk to my precious angel boys on April 12, Levi's birthday. They are so sweet. They are into Pokemon card trading, so that's what he said he got with his money I sent. I write them every week and send them some money, and usually some other little item like stickers. Can't find Pokemon cards here; like they're out of style here or the fad has passed. . .
Church was good tonight; had a big crowd. I still don't like playing the piano when I know it is going out over the radio. And you wouldn't believe how many people listen! I've had numerous people say "I heard you on the radio Sunday." I just don't like playing for people I can't see - - and really, I still freak out just playing in front of people! You'd think after 40 years I'd get used to it! . . .
Guess I better clean up the kitchen before those British ladies show up! luv, mrt
